Description
Fennel is a vegetable with a wonderful anise flavour that is incredibly adaptable. The bulb, fronds, and even the pollen can all be used. The bulb can be sliced raw into salads, roasted and served in wedges, or used as part of a white mirepoix (onions/leeks, celery, and fennel) in seafood stews.
