This pure olive soap is manufactured in Aleppo and made exclusively from virgin olive oil. It cleanses and nourishes skin deeply, leaving it soft and smooth. It removes paint residues, oil etc. without irritating and as an added bonus, this versatile soap acts as a stain remover.
Use:
Aleppo soap is recommended for your face, body and hair. Rub soap on wet skin, wash then rinse with fresh water.
Origin:
The Al Najjar family has been making authentic Aleppo Soap since 1895 in keeping with ancestral artisanal know-how. Aleppo Soap was the first hard soap and has been manufactured for centuries. It is the ancestor of Marseille soap. This know-how is passed down from generation to generation in the Al Najjar family’s soap factory in the city of Aleppo in the North of Syria.
Each year from late November to late March, production of the world’s first hard soap starts over again following an unchanged process. The soaps then dry for at least nine months. During this period, the soaps oxidize on the surface and take on a yellow/beige color, whilst the heart of the soap retains the green color of the oils that make it.
Najel Pure Olive Aleppo Soap is made exclusively from virgin olive oil. Saponified olive oil is a powerful cleanser which nourishes, protects and softens skin.
